New to blogging
So, I guess it's time to join the intriguing, growing world of bloggers. This is my first attempt at blogging so bare with me. Maybe the first thing I should do is introduce myself. My name is Brooke, if you couldn't already tell by my logo (brooke Imagery) and I live in Sacramento, California. I moved here to Sacramento about 4 years ago for a graphic design position with Wachovia, which has been a truly wonderful experience. From learning and growing as a designer to meeting lifetime friends.
Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up loving to paint, draw, dance and sing. My grandma taught me how to paint when I was at the ripe young age of three and my mom and my two aunts continued to inspire me through college with their artistry and loving support. Thank you to all of my friends and family who love and support me. I hope I make you proud!

Passion for photography
Singing, dancing, drawing, painting and designing have all led me to discover my passion for photography. It all started in 2003, my young beautiful sister was graduating high school. It was time to upgrade my camera. As soon as I got my new camera, I took my cousin out to the park to test out my new camera. I fell in love. I remember going to pick up my pictures at Walmart the next day. They refused to give me my pictures unless I could prove I was the photographer who took the pictures. I actually had to go out to my car and give them my memory stick before they would release my pictures to me. I was more than flattered.
My cousins pictures turned out amazing and my sister got her senior portraits. my sister and I had a great time with her shoot and her pictures were exactly what she wanted. The experience ignited a fire inside and today, my passion continues to drive me.
